A warm greeting to a new year

Welcome to 2021! We are so grateful to God for giving us grace to see the new year.

EVERYONE is happy to make it this far and we cannot wait to see what the year has in store. But, wait a minute, who is supposed to make things happen for you in 2021? Can things just happen without a vision? A vision is necessary to map a way forward.

It helps to do things orderly and evaluate successes and challenges, including reasons for failing to achieve intended goals.

Last year, we had a vision board workshop, which helps one to stick to his or her vision.

It helps work towards the intended goals. In essence, a vision board is a constant reminder.

Last year’s event was full of amazing testimonies. It managed to provide participants with new and different experiences, notwithstanding the inherent challenges presented by the coronavirus pandemic.

Some of the participants said their lives had changed for the better.

A vision is your driveway, which you must not ignore.

It is better to try it out and testify than to let such great mentorship opportunities pass you by.

Also known as dream boards, these simple devices are one of the most valuable visualisation tools available.

The inspirational collages serve as an image of the future — a tangible example, idea or representation of where you are going.

They should represent your dreams, your goals and your ideal life.

Jack Canfield, an American author and motivational speaker, once wrote: “Your brain will work tirelessly to achieve the statements you give your subconscious mind. And when those statements are the affirmations and images of your goals, you are destined to achieve them!”

In life, we must have visions and set up goals that we must pursue.

Having goals helps to avoid distractions. Goals and vision helps one to remain focused.

Successful people will tell you the importance of planning properly and working towards achieving targeted goals.

Planning makes execution of the intended goals easier and gives the muchneeded results.

Vision board workshops are surely never to be missed because they assist in evaluating your strengths and making you sensitive to opportunities that favour your goals.
