Zanu PF DCCs urged to execute mandate diligently

-

THE Zanu PF Mashonaland West District Coordinating Committee (DCC) leadership has been urged to execute its mandate diligently and play a central role in the party’s drive to mobilise five million votes for the 2023 harmonised elections.

Speaking to The Sunday Mail on the sidelines of the provincial DCC induction programme in Chegutu where he was the guest of honour, Zanu PF DCC chairman for Makonde, Honourable Kindness Paradza said all party leaders must be aware of the roles they are expected to undertake.

“Today we are in Chegutu where we are exchanging notes and having an induction for the Chegutu DCC executive because they had not conducted theirs since their assumption of office,” said Cde Paradza, who is also Deputy Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services.

“We had a very productive meeting; teaching each other how to execute duties in order to have efficiency in our party, Zanu PF.

“To make sure we get the over 5 million votes for our President and party, we have to understand our duties as the party leadership, so today we managed to clarify one’s role as a leader.

‘‘This means there will be no confusion when executing our duties.

“The chairman knows his duties, so does the secretary for transport and so forth.”

Deputy Minister Paradza said a provincial mass mobilisation blitz will commence next month as the party intensifies preparations for the elections.

“Today as the DCC executive, we also assigned each other some duties to be done from January to December so that our party can move forward,” he said.

Chegutu DCC chairman Cde Brian Chinyama said: “We are grateful to Cde Paradza for teaching us the party protocol as the Chegutu DCC.

“You have made us understand that the party is supreme and that we were voted into office to execute various duties that are important and different from one another. We have also learnt today that if we execute our duties perfectly our President ED Mnangagwa is assured of over 5million votes and victory for our party Zanu PF.”
