About the Awards
Each year, the Institute of Corporate Directors Zimbabwe — through the Corporate Directors Excellence Honours 2021, recognises independent corporate directors of public, private, and non-profit boards who have made valuable contributions to the boards on which they serve, as well as entire boards that have significantly protected or enhanced stakeholder value.
The 2021 honours also recognises leadership, excellence and accomplishment of corporate directors in Zimbabwe, including those with nonprofit governance experience.
The award honours individuals who have made outstanding contributions to Zimbabwe’s enterprises and non-profit organisations through their governance and leadership excellence in the boardroom.
ICDZ offers corporate governance learning solutions for board members and senior executives.
Through customised in-depth learning sessions composed of lectures, case studies and structured learning experiences, ICDZ helps professionalise the practice of corporate directorship.
ICDZ annually hosts good corporate governance fora and recognition events, the most recent of which are the 3rd Corporate Directors Excellence Honours Awards and the upcoming Tone at the Top Board Leadership Conference which will be held in Kariba.

There are two ways to join ICDZ: Through your board or as an individual.
