Lifetime Achievement
Award Category
This special lifetime achievement award goes to individuals who have made a significant positive impact in shaping the board leadership and governance landscape in Zimbabwe.
Recipients of this award have presided over a number of boards, and have earned reputational excellence as knowledge depositories on board leadership, change management and corporate transformation.
The award winners are our decorated corporate leadership heroes.
For 2021 we have two recipients.
ICDZ Special Lifetime Achievement Award First
Recipient
Our recipient was the first black woman to transform an ailing insurance company in 2002 which later became one of the largest short term insurer in Zimbabwe, Nicoz Diamond Insurance (NDI). In 2002, the company was listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange under her leadership. She also won many accolades and some on behalf of the company. This all has been credited to her ever since her appointment as the Managing Director (MD) of NDI.
She is the Commissioner of the Insurance and Pensions Commission (IPEC).
She sits on a number of boards including companies like the Rainbow Tourism Group and the Buy Zimbabwe Campaign Ladies and gentlemen our 2021 Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient — Dr Grace Muradzikwa

Recipient
Our first recipient is a businessman and a Corporate Marketing Consultant with several local and international assignments. He accumulated vast experience having worked for more than 10 companies in positions ranging from Assistant General Manager to Chief Executive Officer. Our ICDZ Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient has sat on up to five different companies and currently sits on the boards inclusive of the following organisations:
• FBC Financial Holding;
• Homelink;
• Tanganda Tea;
