Some people still in denial over Covid-19

The festive season is here and Covid-19 cases are increasing everyday, putting us at risk of even more infections as most people will be travelling from different places for the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

Some people seem to be in denial that we are still battling Covid-19. They are forgetting preventive measures like properly wearing face masks, hand washing, sanitising and social distancing.

As a result, to reduce the spread of the deadly disease, I urge the Government to continue carrying out campaigns on the importance of being vaccinated.

The Government should continue carrying out awareness campaigns to educate citizens on the importance of adhering to the set guidelines in order to minimise the spread of the deadly disease during the festive season.

I also urge people to observe the preventive measures of Covid-19 for their safety.

Let us adhere to the set guidelines so as to save lives especially during this festive season.
