Be creative when showing gratitude

we do in EVERYTHING life is motivated and guided by attitude.

LIKEWISE, with a positive attitude, it is easy for a person to be grateful to others and equally show gratitude. We have different forms of communication, but have you ever considered gratitude to be one of them?

I strongly believe it is. Communication is basically the art of sending or receiving information.

Thus, with gratitude, one will be sending a message through different ways to show how much they appreciate the other part.

The positive vibe helps to create healthy relationships.

There are people who are known to appreciate others for the good they do even if they are not directly concerned with a particular deed.

Similarly, there are others who never value any gesture and always prefer to dwell on the negative side.

However, we are not going to focus on this group.

I remember when my son met the girl that struck him the most. He had tried his luck with several others that, however, were not friendly.

But, he would describe the one he loved the most as “soft, humble and thankful”.

He in turn made “thank you” a part of his conversation with her.

Now, that is gratitude and it has won a heart.

Make it a habit to always be grateful to every person that does good to you whether in a big or small way.

Yes, you can make it part of your lifestyle.

March is a month of my origination and I have taken it to be a period of expressing gratitude to the Lord for the goodness He has shown me in every second of my life on this planet.

You can also choose to do the same. Remember there are so many ways to show appreciation.

For instance, there are better ways to say thank you than using actual words.

If you usually call or send messages, these days there is WhatsApp, why not change and make the world know through a status.

Go public!

Mention them on your social media platforms using deeper statements that express how you really feel.

Visit them and show your emotions. I challenge to find special ways of showing appreciation without necessarily saying thank you.

When you do use the common words, try spicing them.

You could simply say “thanks a million times, you are highly appreciated.”

Such simple words will do wonders for you.

However, at times you have to mention what you are grateful for.

Let that person know.

Even if it is God, make him know. I personally give credit to man and woman of God, Prophet Emmanuel and mom Ruth Makandiwa, my mother, Christine Patsanza and above all to God.

There was a time when the going was tough for us and everyone seemed to have deserted us.

However, the aforesaid stood by us until we found our feet.

Thus, I will forever be grateful to them. In conclusion, remember expressing gratitude is a simple gesture that means a lot.

But, it should be done from the heart. Let every practice of love and gratitude be genuine and you will make a difference.
