‘Ghost’ spooks boozers

-

A ghost has left staff at a haunted, 300-yearold pub spooked.

A bottle of beer was spotted shooting off a shelf behind the bar and plummeted to the floor.

No workers were near the shelf which was sturdily screwed in at the White Swan Inn, in Dunstable, Beds.

It caused spillage down the back of the till while the rest of the bottles stood perfectly in place.

In the CCTV footage, a worker can be seen running to the scene of the spooky accident from the opposite direction, proving nobody was around when it happened.

Pub manager Tasha Magnan said: “The bar staff were so spooked out after. They felt the chills of the aftermath of our beer-destroying ghost.

“We now have two pieces of CCTV showing what we feel are ghosts. We have no idea who the ghost is — someone who does not like beer.”

This is the second paranormal incident that Tasha has caught on camera.

In February this year, she confronted a group of lads for spilling beer on the floor –but none of them had touched it.

The security camera footage later proved they were telling the truth.

It captured a full pint glass sitting on a table and suddenly toppling over without anybody touching it.

Tasha has been working at the pub for over 20 years and claims there have been several unexplainable incidents.

She often feels like somebody is walking past, while other staff complain that they feel like they are being watched.

One time, she moved out of the way of a dog to find that it was not even there.

Tasha often works late shifts so has vowed to keep her eye out for any ghostly happenings.

Mayor marries alligator

The mayor of a small fishing village in Mexico hopes his new bride will croc his world after tying the knot with an alligator wearing a white wedding dress.

Victor Hugo Sosa and his cold-blooded companion sealed their marriage with a kiss as part of a centuries-old ritual to secure nature’s abundance in San Pedro Huamelula.

The seven-year-old reptile, referred to as Little Princess, had her snout tied shut in a bid to avoid unwanted snapping.

She is believed to be a deity representing mother earth and the marriage is said to symbolise the joining of human with the divine.

The ritual is thought to date back centuries to pre-Hispanic times among Chontal and

Huave indigenous communities in Oaxaca state, south-west Mexico.

Traditional music rang out as revellers danced during the ceremony.

“We ask nature for enough rain, for enough food, that we have fish in the river,” Sosa said.

Oaxaca is home to many indigenous groups who are determined to preserve their languages and traditions.

The ritual in San Pedro Huamelula also acknowledges Catholic spirituality and involves dressing an alligator or caiman in a white wedding dress.

Locals carried the bride in their arms through village streets as men fanned it with their hats. “It gives me so much happiness and makes me proud of my roots,” said Elia Edith Aguilar, known as the godmother who organised the wedding.

“It is a very beautiful tradition.” She described feeling “privileged” to carry out the ceremony –and admitted spending a lot of time considering the bride’s outfit.

In April, a woman revealed how she married her cat to stop heartless landlords forcing her to give up her beloved pet.

Teenage boy trades

friend for rituals

A 15-year-old boy was caught handing over his friend to a spiritualist so they might kill him for ritual purposes.

The lads are best buddies and are in the same grade at school.

While the victim begs and tells his friend that he is the only son of his parents, the young ritual killer is seen explaining to the spiritualist what he intends to use his friend for in rituals.

The spiritualist asked the youngster if he would be willing to behead his friend if given a knife, but the boy refused to answer.

When asked what kind of automobile he wanted to drive, he replied that when he became wealthy through rituals, he intended to buy a GLK.

The victim keeps pleading with his friend, which prompts the spiritualist to wonder why he came to the shrine in the first place if he does not want to die.

The victim responded that he followed since his friend always requested him to tag along when he conducted errands.

It appears that a man posing as a native doctor set up the would-be murderer.

The shocking content of the film has stunned viewers and sparked a discussion about how far young people will go to get rich quick.
