Meet the new ZNCC presidium
Tinashe Manzungu: President
Tinashe Manzungu is a business magnate who has pioneered TM Group into a diversified investment portfolio with key interest in real estate, health insurance, agriculture and finance.
Manzungu is an award winner and celebrated Zimbabwe-born businessman who founded TM Group from humble beginnings. He was born 34 years ago in the mining town of Kwekwe in the Midlands Province. He comes from a strong Christian background and is a family-oriented man.

He is a holder of a Doctorate in Business Leadership (DBL) from the International Women’s University (IWU);

Master’s of Science in Business Leadership (MBL) from the International Women’s University (IWU);

Honours degree in Geography and Environmental Science (HonGES) from the Midlands State University (MSU ); and

He is currently studying for a Master of Business Administration degree with Mancossa University.

As they say, good work breeds success, the man has earned accolades and recognition from the business community over the short space of time he has been in business. He has advocated for the highest levels of equitable and sustainable development in Zimbabwe.
He has won numerous accolades for his business expertise and philanthropy from various institutions which include Junior Chamber International, Zimbabwe Investment Authority, Zimbabwe Business Awards and Megafest, among others.
Golden Muoni Deputy president
Golden Muoni is a seasoned business leader whose drive is to make a positive and significant contribution in ensuring that the corporate world plays a pivotal role in adding value to Zimbabwe’s socio-economic development.
Muoni is the founder and managing director of Prime Seasons (Pvt) Ltd. He sits on the board of Bulawayo City Council’s Ingwebu Breweries.
He has served the ZNCC Matabeleland chapter as vice-president and chairperson for a number of years, prior to his election into the chamber’s national leadership as deputy president.
Muoni has worked tirelessly in representing the interests of the business sector, especially to the government in addition to other important policy-makers, where he has lobbied for the enactment and amendments of various policies and laws with the sole aim of nurturing an environment where business can thrive.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree in Entrepreneurship and is currently in
Wellington Themba Vice-president: Matabeleland
Wellington Themba Chinembiri has served ZNCC in Manicaland as chairperson for Mutare Branch from March 2013-2015. He has been with Nssa for 38 years in different senior managerial positions and is the current Nssa regional manager for Matabeleland. He is in charge of three provinces, namely Matabeleland North, Matabeleland South and Bulawayo Metropolitan.
Under his management, Nssa has scooped several awards as the Best Managed Parastatal in the region. He has received several management excellence awards from various institutions in his personal capacity.
Chinembiri is a holder of a Bachelor of Laws degree from Unisa and an MBA from Zimbabwe Open University (ZOU ) and several other qualifications.
Mike Kamungeremu Vice-president: Mashonaland
Mike Kamungeremu is the managing director of Tendo Electronics (Pvt) Ltd and current board chair of Ramola Security (Pvt) Ltd. Before becoming the ZNCC VP for Mashonaland, he was the Harare Branch chairperson and ZNCC national finance committee chairperson for two years.

Michael Phiri Vice -president : Midlands
Michael Phiri is the founding director and executive chairman of Mesclothing (Pvt) Limited.
Phiri has vast experience in project planning and management after working for TelOne for over 23 years, starting off as chief technician and rising through the ranks to become the national networks planning manager before retiring in 2005. He also gained a wealth of experience in finance when he doubled up as CEO of Mesfin P/L (a company he founded and groomed into a national player) for 10 years.
Phiri is the current vice-president of the ZNCC Midlands province, a position he previously served in as vicepresident for the Midlands/Masvingo regions (2009 to 2011).
He sits on various boards, including that of the Zimbabwe Prisons and round strategies and administration.
He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy Honours degree from the University of Zimbabwe (UZ), a Diploma in Financial Management (ACCA-UK), a Master’s degree in Business Administration (UZ) and memberships of the Institute of Risk Management South Africa, and the Institute of Directors of Zimbabwe.
In recognition of his achievements with Tendo Electronics, he was awarded the ZNCC Harare Businessman of the Year 2014 and Megafest Top 20 Businessmen of the Year 2015 awards.
Correctional Services. He is a holder of an MBA from the MSU and BBA degree from Oxford University. He is midway towards attaining his Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) with Binary University of Malaysia in conjunction with Chinhoyi University of Technology.
Charlton Chimbira Vice-president : Manicaland
Charlton Chimbira is the general manager of Holiday Inn Mutare. He is an experienced manager with a demonstrable history of working in the hospitality industry.
He is skilled in front office, accounting and finance, engineering, owner and stakeholder management, catering, budgeting, food and beverages and hotel management.
He joined the hospitality industry in 2008 after graduating from UZ in 2007 with Honours degree in Business Studies. He is a member of Chartered Hotel General Managers with the American Hotel and Lodging Institute. He has served as general manager for Great Zimbabwe Hotel, Holiday Inn Beitbridge, Troutbeck Resort and currently Holiday Inn Mutare.
Chimbira has won several accolades, including Young Host of the
Year 2015 and Megafest Most Promising Young Executive of the Year (Manicaland) 2019. He is also Manicaland chairperson for Hospitality Association of Zimbabwe (HAZ). He has served in the Mutare branch executive as a committee member and chairperson prior to assuming his post as the ZNCC Manicaland vice-president 2020. He dreams of driving the national industrial reform agenda across the board.
