Fact file: Wengayi Nhau

• Nhau is a renowned accomplished professional who has had wide and extensive experience in the Tourism & Hospitality, Aviation and Logistics sectors.

• His extensive industry experience took him some twenty-seven years to achieve, in Zimbabwe, the region and international fronts;

• He is an entrepreneur of note having founded Wenhau Africa Holdings in 2001 and the company has business operations in Zimbabwe and the Southern African Region in the fields of Tourism & Hospitality, Aviation & Logistics;

• Before joining TBCZ in 2019 to take up the position of Vice President responsible for the Activities Cluster in the Tourism sector he has held among other roles the below responsibilities;.

• Chairperson of Victoria Falls/Livingstone Joint Tourism Committee (2004-2008);

• Co-Chairperson of United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO ) Victoria Falls Local Organising Committee (2012-2014)

• Chairperson Zimbabwe Tour Operators Association (2012-2016);

• Chairperson National Tourism Joint Marketing Committee (2012-2018);

• Board of Directors Railway Safaris & Victoria Falls Steam Train Company (2010-2016)

• Board Member Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (2015-2018);

• Board of Directors Heritage Railway Association of Southern Africa (HRASA) 2015 to date

• He comes to the helm of the Tourism Sector bringing with a wealth of expertise and experiences.
