Rice Musendo is a director within internal audit at Brown Shipley, a UK-based private bank. Before that, he held similar positions at two other Swiss headquarte­red wealth managers/private banks, UBS and EFG Internatio­nal.

He is also a director of an advisory and accountanc­y practice, VE Accounting Services Chartered Accountant­s, which serves small and medium businesses in South East England.

Musendo is a past chairperso­n of the UK Chapter committee and is currently a serving member of the committee. He has been sitting on the Institute of Chartered Accountant­s of Zimbabwe (ICAZ) council since 2020. He is a Fellow of both the ICAZ and Institute of Chartered Accountant­s in England and Wales.

Musendo trained with Pricewater­houseCoope­rs and also holds a Master in Business Administra­tion from Warwick Business School.

He is a firm believer in equal opportunit­ies and a passionate supporter of organisati­ons empowering and advancing the interest of vulnerable and underprivi­leged members of society.

Musendo has contribute­d in various capacities including:

•As a governor at Rowhill School, a special school for pupils with behaviour and learning needs,

As an advisor to Active Horizons, a youth-led charitable organisati­on set up to foster leadership, promote the voice and engagement of BME young people in London Borough of Bexley, and

Business and financial management advisor to Eco Learning a charity providing training for young adults and school leaver to enable them to find employment, amongst others. Musendo is a proud father of three girls.
