Incoming CEO celebrates predecessors
on 1 st march 2022, William mandisodza joined the institute of chartered accountants of Zimbabwe as the new chief executive officer and found himself in the thick of the icaZ centennial book launch preparations which were already well underway.
mandisodza came with a wealth of senior managerial experience both locally and internationally, as well as cross sector exposure.
He trained with Kpmg Zimbabwe where he qualified and became a member of the institute. He held various senior positions in public practice and commerce.
He contributed immensely in various capacities with the institute including as the outgoing chairman of mashonaland district society and as a member of the institute’s accounting procedures committee.
He played a significant role in the formation of the icaZ (uK) chapter and was its inaugural chairperson.
in his speech at a pre-launch seniors’ event, mandisodza said that taking on the role of ceo at this time made it possible for him to recognise procedures and practices that have helped build the icaZ brand are guarded diligently and jealously.
The launch of the book is a clear reminder of the responsibility the icaZ secretariat carries to be the face and voice of the institute on your behalf of, and in memory of those who have gone before, as they carry out their daily duties.
