‘MAI DHUTERERE’S FUTURE IN GOD’S HANDS’
TRADITIONAL gospel musician, Mambo Dhuterere, says he is not in control of his wife’s music career as he believes her future will be determined by God.
Mai Dhuterere impressed on her debut single featuring Mambo Dhuterere titled Mwari Tinzwirei Ngoni, which is still a favourite of many on their playlists since the day of its release.
Some gospel music lovers are therefore asking for more of Mai Dhuterere’s own songs.
In an interview with H-Metro Entertainment & Lifestyle, Mambo Dhutere said it was his wish to see his wife releasing more music but only if God permits.
“If God allows we will see more projects coming from Mai Dhuterere.
“It’s my desire to see her doing singles and albums. But we will leave it in the hands of God because He is the one who gave us the voice and wisdom,” said Mambo Dhuterere.
When asked about the future of Mai Dhuterere, Mambo Dhuterere said the main task was to spread the Word of God through music.
“The onus is to worship and spread the Word.
“We will do it through music. God must be praised always,” he said.
Mambo Dhuterere said at the moment he would not divulge any future projects of Mai Dhuterere.
“There is nothing we can reveal for now. “But as soon as we do something we will inform our supporters and listeners,” he told H-Metro.
Mambo Dhuterere and wife have joined other couples who are into gospel music like the successful Baba and Mai Charamba.
However, considering the exploits and popularity of Mambo Dhuterere, the future for Mai Dhuterere looks promising.
