Ananya back with new song
SONGBIRD Ananya Kouds has released a new song titled ‘‘Where Is The Love’’.
The refreshing song comes after a lengthy period since her last release as she had taken time off music to concentrate on her studies.
The song was produced by Rich Pilkington the same producer who she worked with on her hit song, Shy Boy.
The 21-year-old beauty revealed to H-Metro Lifestyle & Entertainment that she was dedicating more time to music since she had completed her studies.
“Now that I’ve graduated from university, I’m finally going to be able to dedicate all of my time to music.
“I’m really looking forward to releasing more, and hopefully performing in 2022. It’s my dream to perform here at home.
“It’s a little scary going back to ‘in person’ performances now that we’ve all gotten used to this virtual world but it’s been a really long time so I’m super excited.”
She added:
“I wrote my new song during quarantine on my guitar, but only recently finalised it.
“Where’s the Love” is a song that expresses the feeling of desperately trying to find the answers to someone’s lack of love.”
She also revealed that she is a big fan of Takura.
“I’m a big fan of Takura’s work, he’s like a big brother to me and has given me guidance as a new comer in the industry. I’d absolutely love to create music with Takura.
Speaking about her fashion project, she said:
“For my final project at university, I created a collection based on my writing process, and the way that my music is received once shared with the world.”
The entire year was done online but I used so many different methods, such as self-draping, sketching, 3D rendering and textile development to complete the collection.”
It was a really great learning experience and pushed me out of my comfort zone.
“Fashion will always play a huge role in my music journey. I see fashion as a really powerful tool, a safety net.”
