The leader of Andorra Endavant, Carine Montaner assured to EL PERIÒDIC that they have been in contact with several councilors for days to request that the head of government, Xavier Espot, submit to a vote of confidence. cutive without prior consultation with the rest of the parliamentary groups, and which led, to its time, to the abandonment of the formation led by Montaner and the social democrats of the housing group promoted by Minister Marsol. As the general counsel explained Friday yesterday, «taking into account the dissatisfaction of the chamber even within Democrats and Ciutadans Compromesos, we think that the head of government should present a vote of confidence». Even so, Montaner goes further and assures that, in case there is no change of course and a «cessation of this excessive interventionism» and Espot does not goes to this vote of confidence, there are six councilors who propose a vote of no confidence against the head of government to see if he continues to have the legitimacy to govern. Montaner emphasized the policies carried out by the Government and expressed that «it is sinking the country, there is growing legal in

security, which is not good for a country and leads it to an absolute drift». It should be remembered that the parliamentary formation already warned a few days ago that if the Executive did not rectify «its trajectory and does not eliminate the interventionist and counterproductive measures», it would take the Draft Law to the Constitutional Court. Even so, when the news with Montaner’s statements was published, DA and CC issued a press release announcing their «absolute support for the Government and the measures announced».
