Wow, the fats in the fire. The president lambasted the Judiciary in his address to Congress last Monday, much to the satisfaction of the veep, who has about half a dozen causes pending with that important sector of government. Subsequently, the interior minister went so far as to recommend that the judges become “transformed ..... or else.” Remarkable.

In his overlong peroration, President Whirligig hardly mentioned the current scandal of ‘Vacunagate’ and the fact that over 52,000 locals have already passed away, due the cruel Covid-19 pandemic. Less than one percent of the population have been vaccinated and vaccines of any origin are scarce and hard to secure. Sacking the health minister has not improved the highly unsatisfactory situation. Former president Macri to blame for all our ills, of course, including the past loan from the IMF.
