11 Breaking Symmetry

-

When you’re sculpting a new animal, I’d recommend keeping the model symmetrical for a long time. Turning Symmetry off lets you create a more dynamic sculpt, but only do it once you’re comfortable with the basic forms. The eyeballs are a separate Subtool, and you don’t want to move them separately to the body, so select Zplugin>transpose Master>tposemesh. Now pose the sculpt by masking out parts of the body, softening the edges of the mask and using the Transpose tool. Once you’re happy with the pose, go to Zplugin>transpose Master>tposesubt to realign the eyes and body.
