Kink adds spirals to each strand of fur. It is one of the most important attributes when it comes to defining the character, body and texture of your fur and it is easily determined if you have good references. When adjusting the amount/amplitude and frequency of kink, keep close tabs on the number of segments per strand of hair. Because the monster’s scale is so large you will have to exaggerate the frequency to increase the number of spirals. Set the minimum to two rotations and the maximum to 15.
