Another method of getting the cloth done easily is by building up the underlying constructi­on. In the following picture you can see that not a lot of polish went into the underlying structure, it’s just a lot of big models with interestin­g round shapes. It’s important to be aware that these shapes need enough segments to them, that way they can have enough info for collision detection. This way you can use Marvelous later and just wrap around it.

Once you are done with this you can always delete the underlying structure. But if you can keep it, then a cool idea is to work with some light transparen­t plastic/cloth material. It becomes even cooler if you can add some extra colours to the machinery pieces, that way they pop out nicely from underneath the cloth. To finish it off you can add some tiling height maps with some wrinkles in them.
