IT MIGHT feel like something shifty is going on when a salesman says there’s just been a price rise on the vehicle you want to buy, but there have been slight movements in a couple of 4x4 prices this month.

Jeep has added $490 to Wrangler prices across the board – for example, the entry-level Wrangler Sport two-door soft-top went up from $38,500 to $38,990.

Meanwhile, Toyota has shaved $130 from the Land Cruiser 200 GXL V8 price (make sure you mention that when doing the deal) but has added $370 to the bill for the Land Cruiser 200 GXL TDV8.
