Jury orders Facebook to pay US$500 million in damages to ZeniMax

At the end of a nightmaris­h court battle for Facebook, a jury awarded ZeniMax US$500 million in damages for the violation of a non-disclosure agreement that Palmer Luckey, the co-founder of Oculus, had with the American media company. The jury also stated that Oculus had not misappropr­iated trade secrets as was contested by ZeniMax. The VR giant has said it will appeal the decision, but is also looking forward to putting the case behind it. SS
