The ability to schedule your social media posts or emails is fast becoming useful beyond the realm of just publicists and preachers. There are multiple options out there for doing so, such as Buffer ( buffer.com) but not many, if any, operate as simply and directly as Do It Later.

The main screen lists all your pending, finished and discarded scheduled items, neatly organised into their respective categories, and simply tapping the ‘+’ sign allows you to create an item. You can choose email, SMS, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or just a regular reminder to schedule at any time and date, repeating or one-off. There are a bunch of applicable and useful options, such as being able to resend a reminder once network availability returns, or to ask for confirmation before actually pulling the trigger.

You can optionally spend $3.99 to remove the ad banners and get the ability to choose the date format and notification sound. Oh, and if your phone has battery-saving functionality, be sure to whitelist this app in order for it to work properly in the background.
