The G.Skill Ripjaws V DDR4-3000 C15 are the subtle alternative to the flashy Corsair Vengeance LED DDR4-3000 C15 kit back over the page. If you have no need for luminance within your PC, these G.Skill DIMMs will do the trick.
Clad in understated silver heatspreaders, these sticks are ready to accommodate most build aesthetics. The modules were visually right at home in our Aorus Z270X-Gaming 7 test bench.
Regarding performance, this kit is anything but subtle. It drives home the results with high bandwidth, particularly in read and copy, though we would have liked to have seen overall latency in line with the other two DDR4-3000 C15 kits — but that’s being picky given the bandwidth results. The HWBot X265 results impressed after a slight stumble in Cinebench R15 multi-threaded performance in comparison with direct contemporaries.
Overall, a solid kit to consider.
