Logitech G903
The premium wireless gaming mouse just got recharged.
Logitech’s G903 wireless gaming mouse looks rather more like the angry fire-spewing alien beetles from Starship Troopers than a PC mouse. This symmetrical, black scarab will suite both left- and right-handers, but its thinner shape does make it best for users who err towards a claw or fingertip style gripping technique.
Although there’s enough rump to support your palm, its overall shape seems primarily aimed at putting users in a position to be twitch-responsive and competitive. With a one-millisecond response rate, Lightspeed wireless and Logitech’s best PMW3366 full-range optical sensor, you have an exceptionally responsive wireless mouse that suffers from zero lag.
It’s quite customisable, too, with a tri-click scroll wheel that can be toggled for notched or free-spinning scrolling. There’s a dual-direction DPI adjustment button and a spare set of side buttons and bumpers to give you total control of the physical layout, as well.
Logitech’s Gaming Software allows you to customise further, with full button configuration, DPI profile tweaking and RGB lighting synchronisation. The mouse also includes an additional 10g weight-insert to give it more inertia — although, unfortunately, the Powerplay module that allows wireless charging uses the same slot on the mouse’s underside.
At $250, the G903 is pricey (even by wireless mouse standards), but if you want competition-level responsiveness, a sleek and customisable design, and cutting-edge wireless charging, then this is the mouse to beat.
Verdict
A full-featured wireless-charging remake of the most desirable gaming mouse on the market.
