AMOUNT OF BITCOIN ATMS BEING INSTALLED ACROSS AUSTRALIA

ATM operator StarGroup will convert 2,900 of its existing ATMs across Australia into Bitcoinenabled machines, in a new partnership with blockchain service provider DigitalX. This will mean that users will be able to both purchase Bitcoin with Australian dollars, or instantly cash in their Bitcoins for some cold hard cash. As it currently stands, cryptocurrency users often have to wait days to perform these conversions and while there are already some of these kinds of ATMs in service around the country, at last count, they only numbered 16 and were located solely in Sydney and Melbourne.
