PER­CENT­AGE OF AUS­TRALIANS THAT “DON’T FEEL THEM­SELVES” WITH­OUT THEIR PHONE

More than a quar­ter of Aus­tralians “don’t feel like them­selves and find it hard to func­tion” when with­out their phone, ac­cord­ing to re­search com­mis­sioned by Chinese phone man­u­fac­turer Huawei. Of those that were sur­veyed, 96% ad­mit­ted to car­ry­ing their phones with them at all times, and if they had man­aged to for­get it when leav­ing the house, 37% would head back to grab it and be late for work, 45% would be late for meet­ing a part­ner and 34% would be will­ing to be late for a first date.
