THE SIZE OF SANDISK’S NEW MICROSD CARD

It’s perhaps no big surprise that SanDisk, a company best known for its mobile storage, is the one to break a record when it comes to microSD cards. The newly announced SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-1 will be able to fit an impressive 400GB of flash storage in its thumbnail-sized chassis, and apparently it can also reach transfer speeds of 100MB/s. While we don’t have Australian pricing at this point, it will cost US$250 in the States, so we’d expect it to be around the $400 mark over this side of the pond.
