Lego fan recreates retro computing scenes
Not just another brick in the wall.
PowerPig is, we can honestly say, one of the more interesting things we’ve found on the internet of late. Not only is Chris McVeigh (the Pig himself) an author, illustrator and photographer, he’s also a Lego enthusiast, responsible for some of the best building kits out there. Some of these include a handful of bonsai trees, hamburgers and slices of birthday cake, retro cameras, a full arcade, air hockey table, old-school radio and — the best yet — retro TV sets, Nintendo and Atari consoles, and a desk setup complete with an old computer, filing cabinet and wheelie chair. What McVeigh has achieved here is thoroughly amazing and is a testament to the longevity of Lego itself.
