Fractal Meshify C Mini – Dark TG

The unique facia is matched by a unique interior.

-

Just look at the front of this case — it’s as if the designers were inspired by Melbourne’s Federation Square thanks to the angular design. It’s definitely original, and rather futuristic looking. It’s actually a mesh design as well, allowing plenty of air to be sucked into the front via the twin 120mm fans that come with the case.

A total of seven fans can be installed, or a 280mm radiator at the front, a 240mm radiator at the top, or a 120mm radiator at the rear. In other words, you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to cooling.

The left side of the case is made from tempered glass, while the right side is metal, with the dark tempered glass only showing off glowing neon within. Not that you’ll notice the fullsized ATX PSU, as this is covered in a PSU shroud to hide this hideous-looking component. Thanks to the larger dimensions of this case (39.5 x 21.2 x 39.9cm, making it micro-ATX capable), there’s room for a sizeable graphics card up to 31.5cm in length, while your CPU cooler can stretch its wings to a generous 17.2cm in height.

For a small tower, it’s surprisingly heavy at 6.28kg, thanks to the tempered glass, so it may not be the best choice for LAN gamers. There’s space for up to five drives, and a 3.5cm gap between the motherboard and side panel leaves plenty of room for hiding cables.

It’s not exactly cheap, but we love the design and tempered glass, not to mention the space inside. If you’re looking to spend a little more on your mini-PC, this is a tempting option.

Verdict

If you’re looking for something that looks out of the ordinary, look no further.
