JW Computers GMR Apex 3080

Coming in as the cheapest of this month’s roundup, it looks like the price reduction has taken an axe to the CPU capabilities in order to keep the new fangled RTX 3080 onboard to deliver that sweet next-gen graphics performance – ideal for high FPS 1440p or 4K gaming. The CPU will be a bottleneck at 1440p or lower if hunting for 144Hz+ gaming, but if you like visual quality over FPS quantity, it will be perfect.

A good size SSD, power supply and motherboard with lots of IO options make for a well-rounded system.

Some higher speed RAM would’ve been nice to see at this price point for the Ryzen processor, but these RTX 3080s don’t come cheap so some pennies have been saved there. A solid build.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, Cooler: Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240R, Motherboard: AMD X570, Graphics: MSI GeForce RTX 3080 10G, Memory: 32GB DDR4 3200Mhz RGB, Storage: Samsung 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD, Power Supply: 850W, Case: Corsair 4000D.

Scorptec Cosmos RTX 3090

If you are looking for the best gaming rig with zero compromises, this is it. Everything in this system is top of the line. It has the best gaming CPU on the market in the form of the i9-10900K, which not only nets you that delicious 5.3GHz boost clock speed for high FPS gaming, but it also comes bundled with the latest Marvel Avengers game. Paired with this is a beast of a graphics card, the RTX 3090. With 24GB of VRAM this card is made for pushing out glorious gaming visuals with everything maxed out at 4K. Anything less would be a waste of this card’s time and your money. An excess of RAM and SSD capacity with a kilowattrated power supply make for an insane gaming machine.

CPU: Intel Core i9 10900KA, Cooler: Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360R, Motherboard: MSI MEG Z490 Godlike, Graphics: MSI Ventus 3x GeForce RTX 3090 OC 24GB, Memory: G.Skill Trident Z RGB 64GB 3600MHz DDR4, Storage: 2x Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB M.2 SSD, Power Supply: Corsair HX1000 1000W Platinum, Case: Cooler Master Cosmos C700M.

PC Case Gear Elite 3080

Besides being AMD’s current highest-end mainstream consumer CPU with sixteen cores to throw around at tasks, the Ryzen 9 3950X is also AMD’s fastest gaming processor thanks to the higher binning and thus higher boost clocks. It still lags just behind Intel’s offerings for raw gaming performance at 1080p and 1440p resolutions, so you should only be looking at this system if you need all those extra cores for other productivity or compute heavy workloads outside gaming. With 2.5TB of SSD storage on tap and 32GB of fast RAM and a feature heavy motherboard this system is for those that want to work and play, fast.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3950X, Cooler: Nzxt Kraken X63 280mm AIO, Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix X570-F Gaming, Graphics: Asus GeForce RTX 3080 TUF Gaming 10GB, Memory: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB 3600MHz CL18 DDR4,

Storage: Samsung 970 EVO Plus NVMe SSD 500GB, Samsung 870 QVO SATA SSD 2TB, Power
