Kate Vinen is a Renaissance woman and considers herself an artist, writer, explorer and filmmaker. She has a background in film production (AFTRS, Directing 2010) and her projects have screened in film festivals, galleries and biennales in Australia, Bangladesh, Germany, and France and won a number of awards. She has worked for film festivals, taught film and creative thinking, and her poetry has been published in various publications.
