Dekton’s industrial range from Cosentino was recently used in the home of Australian entrepreneur Janine Allis.
When Australian entrepreneur and mother Janine Allis embarked on the design and build of her five-bedroom home she turned to Penny del Castillo of In Design International to help her realize her dream house.
Understanding that Allis’s family lives a modern lifestyle, del Castillo chose materials and textures to reflect the personality of the family in order to design an oasis they can call home. Importantly, the interior needed to offer a sense of natural luxury coupled with hardwearing finishes that would withstand the active lifestyles of Allis’s busy household.
The natural tones, seen in Dekton’s industrial range from Cosentino made it an easy choice for this stylish home thanks to their peaceful and nurturing aesthetic coupled with excellent performance.
Made from a sophisticated mixture of the raw materials used to manufacture glass, advanced porcelain materials and quartz surfaces, Dekton is highly resistant to scratching and abrasion and its low porosity means it is almost entirely resistant to water absorption and stains. The versatile material can also be used inside and outdoors – its resistance to UV damage ensures excellent colour stability and it is ideal for use in any climate.
