Leaf­cut­ter bee Aus­trothur­gus rubri­ca­tus This gor­geous lit­tle Aus­tralian in­sect, cov­ered in large grains of pollen, was brav­ing a stiff breeze to for­age in flow­ers so deep the bees needed to be flushed out into the open for col­lec­tion.
