NATIONAL BILBY DAY, ARID RECOVERY

National Bilby Day is on 10 September, so it’s a great time to try spotting one in the wild on one of the sunset tours offered Monday–Friday from April to October (adults $40, children free) on the Arid Recovery reserve near Roxby Downs, about 550km north of Adelaide. You’ll also be guided through, and taught about, the unique environments of Australia’s arid zone.
