Getting there

The district is 140km south-east of Canberra, 300km south of Sydney and 480km north-east of Melbourne. It’s located off the Princes Highway and can be reached after a lengthy coastal drive from either Sydney or Melbourne. Regional Express offers regular flights from Sydney to nearby Moruya and Merimbula airports with car hire available. You can also fly into Canberra and then enjoy the three-hour drive to the district, with plenty of south coast sights along the way.
