Winner Animal Habitat

As I waited for sunset at Hansons Peak in the Cradle Mountain–Lake St Clair National Park in Tasmania, an echidna appeared. It was happy wandering the mountains in search of dinner. I was happy to photograph it doing it. I’ve never seen an echidna this high in the mountains before or since. Cradle Mountain–Lake St Clair National Park, Tasmania
