CAPE PILLAR SEA CLIFFS, TASMAN NP

Before Tasmania’s cooler weather sets in, check out these spectacular 300m-high dolerite sea cliffs, just under two hours’ drive from Hobart. Amid some of Australia’s most beautiful coastal scenery, these cliffs are the highest in the Southern Hemisphere. Many other striking rock formations can be enjoyed here on the Tasman Peninsula and dolphins, whales, fur seals and little penguins can be spotted around the coastline.
