The JP15 celebrates the 15th of 17 years of creative partnership between John Petrucci and the Ernie Ball Music Man family. Each of John Petrucci’s signature model instruments is unique, and all models remain current production instruments. The JP15 features a lightweight African mahogany body with a figured and roasted maple top. For the 2017 spring collection, Music Man has adopted an eye-catching teal finish; the subtle, yet beautiful teal gloss finish compliments the flame or quilt figuring with stunning effect. A roasted maple neck and fingerboard adds just the right amount of snap and brightness, while providing more stability in ever-changing climates. The JP15 is powered by twin custom Dimarzio Illuminator pickups, a piezo bridge system and onboard 20db gain boost. Rear panel trimpots allow used customisation of the piezo/mags mix, boost level, and piezo treble and bass levels. The JP15 is available in six- or seven-string options with a Music Man JP tremolo, three-way toggle pickup selector and Music Man hardshell case.
