TARA LABS APOLLO SERIES

-

Tara Labs has released a new entry-level series of cables and interconnects called the Apollo Series to replace its TL range. ‘ We developed a brand new concept for the Apollo Series, keeping in mind the relationship they will have with their counterpart components,’ said Matthew Bond of Tara Labs. ‘ We have incorporated numerous technological advances and designs from our higher-end reference cables into the Apollo Series, so that compared to the TL series, Apollo cables have a more coherent construction and design which translates to a substantial enhancement of soundstage, high frequency extension, spatial cues, and improved noise floor, as well as enhanced musicality.’

The Apollo speaker cable construction uses Tara Labs’ proprietary ‘BSM’ (Banana/Spade Modules) terminations so instead of soldered-on spades or bananas, you can now switch from one termination type to the other quickly and easily. Apollo interconnects are available with either RCA or XLR termination. ‘ The Apollo Series cables offer audiophiles a musical experience that is easily comparable to cables costing many times their price,’ said Boris Granovsky, of Absolute Hi-End, which distributes Tara Labs in Australia. ‘ I would venture to say that you can get a $1,000 upgrade to your audio system for around $300, so the new Apollo Series cables represent a new era in entry-level products for Tara Labs.’

Tara Labs’ Apollo Series includes the Apollo II ($260) and Apollo I ($320) interconnects, Apollo speaker cables ($409), Apollo Digital cable ($189), Apollo a.c. power cable ($369) and Apollo subwoofer cable ($205).
