Australian distributor Synchronised Technology (Syntec) has released the BeyerDynamic DT1990 Pro headphones, which use BeyerDynamic’s exclusive ‘Tesla’ technology, where an extremely fine copper wire, just half the diameter of a human hair, is used to construct the voice-coil of the transducer, and neodymium is used as the magnetic material. As with all BeyerDynamic headphones, the DT 1990 Pros are built in Heilbronn in Germany.
