PIONEER XDP-300R RELEASED

-

Powermove has released Pioneer’s newest high-resolution personal audio player, the XDP-300R, which uses dual DACs and has fully-balanced audio circuitry. In recent years, music has become a very personal experience, so instead of listening to music via hi-fi systems and speakers, they’re instead listening on portable devices using headphones and earphones,’ said Shelden Walker, of Powermove Distribution. ‘ The new Pioneer XDP-300R is the answer for users who want the ability to handle the variety of music files now available, so it’s capable of handling all of them, right up to 11.2MHz DSD, 384kHz/24-bit FLAC/WAV and the newest high-res technology, MQA.’

The XDP-300R comes with 32GB of internal storage and dual microSD card slots that support up to 200GB each, making the total available storage 432GB. Playback is via dual ESS Technology Sabre ES9018K2M DACs that drive Sabre9601K amplifiers that can be configured with either balanced or unbalanced outputs to suit every application. The player uses an Android OS which gives access to GooglePlay so you can stream video and music, and has both WiFi and Bluetooth, eliminating the need for wires. The 12cm HD front panel display is fitted with Gorilla Glass. Available now, the Pioneer XDP-300R sells for $1,299 (RRP).
