KEF has released new ‘Performance’ speaker stands that it says are ideal for use with its award-winning LS50 and LS50 wireless loudspeakers. ‘ Designed and engineered in the UK by KEF’s audio experts, the Performance Speaker Stand has been built from the ground up to place bookshelf speakers at the ideal height for an optimum sound space,’ said Michael Di Meglio, of Advance Audio, which distributes KEF in Australia. ‘ Available in black or white, the stands look superb and incorporate an integrated cable management system that keeps your speaker cables out of sight.’ The new KEF Performance stands are constructed from steel and aluminium and can be filled with inert filler to increase sound damping and stability. ‘ Rarely does KEF introduce a speaker stand as an individual product, however with the introduction of connected speakers and their plethora of supported audio sources, the time was right to create the Performance Speaker Stands’ said Di Meglio. ‘ Ideally used with the KEF LS50 and LS50 Wireless speakers, they’re also perfect for other models in KEF’s broad range of bookshelf speakers, like Q and R Series, and will make it easy to place them in the ideal listening position easy anywhere in the home, without sacrificing style or elegance.’ KEF Performance speakers stands are available now in black or white for $799 per pair (RRP).
