Stylist, author, collector of vintage and eclectic wares, and owner of The Society Inc Favourite bloom: damask rose ( Rosa damescena) “This many-petalled rose is rich and earthy in scent. The oil from the petals provides the essence of attar of roses, as used in perfume. My mum gave me a corked glass vial that once belonged to my greatgrandmother, with the remnant of a label that read ‘Attar of Rose’. The scent inside is still transporting and vivid. Hence my enduring love of the flower and the inspiration for my new candle from The Society Inc.
