Asbestos alert

-

“Until the late 1980s, asbestos was used to manufacture a broad range of products and can be found in almost any room of a house. You can’t tell if a product contains asbestos by just looking at it. If you’re unsure, treat it as though it does and take all necessary precautions. Properties can be inspected by a licensed asbestos removalist to confirm asbestos presence through scientific testing at an accredited NATA lab.

Never cut it, drill it, drop it, sand it, saw it, scrape it, scrub it, dismantle it, tip it, waterblast it or demolish it. And whatever you do, don’t dump it. For more, visit www. asbestosawareness.com.au.” Barry Du Bois, interior designer and Asbestos Awareness ambassador. H&G
