Essential oils Take in more than 90 powerful paintings by American legend Georgia O’Keeffe and Australian icons Margaret Preston and Grace Cossington Smith at the Queensland Art Gallery. This exhibition represent the largest collection of O’Keeffe’s works ever to visit Australia, and offers art aficionados a rare opportunity to see her work contrasted with two pioneering Australian talents. Herbal remedies The Queensland Herb Society is hosting a one-day Herb Awareness event on May 28 at Albion Peace Hall in Windsor. The event, which focuses on education about herbs for medicinal and culinary use, will include talks, demonstrations and workshops. Entry is free. www.qldherbsociety.org.au.
