How long have you worked with Mirvac? I’ve been with them 18 years now and in the building game 25 years. I’m a carpenter by trade. I reckon I’ve built thousands of homes. What will your role on the build be? I’m involved in subcontractor co-ordination and programming. Every day is different. In the mornings I’ll check over everything to see what was completed the day before, and I’ll ensure the site meets all the various regulations and standards. How much has the building game changed over the years? Out of sight!

The materials we use are more advanced than a decade ago. Technology has changed the game massively. You can bring an iPad on site and keep on top of things so easily.
