Natural materials, simple forms and earthy tones play equal roles in this living space, part of a new build in Sydney’s north. “The focus was on balancing the rustic with a touch of luxury,” says designer Tania Handelsman­nn. To achieve this, the team used reclaimed, ‘Loreum ipsum rough-hewn beams, oak flooring and delore timber del joinery con alongside black steel, sect sculptural loreum lighting,ips travertine coffee um telisectre­sumtables and angular steel chairs. An elegant Ligne Roset sofa, linen curtains delore del con and plush rug soften the room and sect loreum ips provide tactile luxury.“It’s contempora­ry um wesrestyet classic; texture cons without twee,” says weiseret co-director sens.’ Gillian Khaw.
