QUEENSLAND

Carnarvon National Park in the Central Highlands is home to several walks of around 10km. Along these routes you can spot Aboriginal rock art as well as natural wonders such as the Moss Garden. queensland.com

NORTHERN TERRITORY

SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Opened in September 2017, the Punchbowl Lookout Walk is a gently graded walk for all ages. The one-hour, 2km round trip offers impressive scenic views into the Onkaparinga Gorge along the way. walkingsa.org.au

TASMANIA

The 1km-long rainforest trail (left) to Liffey Falls, near Launceston, is ideal for children. Help them find tiny marine fossils in the falls’ rockface. parks.tas.gov.au

WESTERN AUSTRALIA
