THE BENTSPOKE BREWING KOWALSKI CLASSIC – FINAL ROLL CALL

The classics are falling! With announcements that much of East Kowen and Sparrow Hill will be logged, the singletrack marathon is set to lose much of its singletrack. But that’s not going to stop the Kowalski Brothers putting on one epic final race on the outskirts of Canberra. As the final round of the MTBA National XCM Series the battle at the front of the race could well be tight. It’s too early to know if the race will decide the series winner, but in a way that doesn’t matter. A win at the Kowalski is prestigious. We could even say that riding the whole route without a dab is a prodigious feat in itself!

There are three options for you to tackle. The 90km Full Kowalski, the 50km Half Kowalski and the 25km QRTR Kowalski. Each promises great trails – you just decide how much trail, how much fun and how much hurt you want. There’s even a Twin Kowalski option where you can race the 50km with a mate. There are new trails, and the Kowalski’s mix the course up each year so expect something different to last time you rode there.
