Port to Port’s 2020 route revealed

-

In February Port to Port unveiled updates to the 4-day mountain bike race route, and the best news is there is more singletrack! Stage 1 starts and finishes at Spicers Retreat, but there is also more singletrack deeper into the stage, and 1500m of climbing in the 51km route to help sort the field out for the coming days.

Stage 2 tackles 50km with 700m of climbing and hasn’t seen much change, there’s still a climb at the start before a long descent at Killingworth and into the Holmsville trails. But those exact trails have had some updates so be alert! Stage 3 moves to Martinsville before attacking

Awaba. 15Km of singletrack awaits before heading up and over Mt Faulk and into a new 8km descent, making for a 55km day with 1400m of climbing.

The final takes you from Belmont to Dixon Park, taking in the Fernleigh Track and a whole lot of Glenrock fun along the way. Once the 40km stage with 700m of climbing is done, reward your team mate with a beverage and some sweet potato chips – you’ve both earnt it! Make sure you keep 2124 May free, grab a team mate and enter the biggest mountain stage bike race in NSW.
