Divine intervention

John Bowe returned to the top of the Touring Car Masters’ standings after a dominant showing at round two at Sandown in April. Bowe (Torana) won two of the three sprints, with the Jesus Racing XY GT-HO of Andrew Fisher winning the reverse-grid race, his first in the popular retro series. First round winner Greg Ritter (Chev Monza) failed to finish two of the three races and slipped to fifth on the points table. TCM’s third round was scheduled for Winton over May 21-22, after this issue of AMC closed for press.
